About Us

Led by Ardiyansyah Yatim, Ph.D, Sustainable Building and Environmental Thermal System (SBETS) Universitas Indonesia is a research group that focuses on building-related technologies. Our research addresses the physical processes affecting energy consumption, thermal environments, and air quality in sustainable buildings. Our recent work have focused on optimizing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning devices and create smarter, more energy efficient, more economic, and also healthy buildings. We are developing air conditioning systems testing chamber, airflow simulation by computational fluid dynamics, indoor air quality monitoring and control strategies, also investigating risk on building HVAC systems.
